If you have received a yellow notice for jury service on the date listed above and cannot serve please fill out Request for Excusal. If your trial is cancelled, you do not need to appear again until you receive a new summons in the mail.

Justice Court records are public record. However, Justice Court does not have a public access terminal. There is a charge of $2.00 a year, per name, to perform the record search. Copies of records are charged at .25 per page and possibly postage if the request is to be mailed.

From 1938 through 2012 are stored in two offsite locations. In order to retrieve a record from this period, contact the Clerk of the Supreme Court at (406) 444-3858 and allow two days for retrieval. From 2013-present are housed onsite in the vault of the Office of the Clerk of the Supreme Court.
